The Human Face Behind Ursadore - Pendle Sutton

I have grown up with dogs my entire life, living with Golden Retrievers, as well as Irish Setters and a Labrador Retriever.  My passion for Golden Retrievers really started when I was 10, and my mother brought home a (wellbred purebred) Golden Retriever during a pretty difficult time in my life.  This pup became my everything, my shadow, and ignited my passion for the breed.  I absolutely loved her playfulness, loyalty, kindness, and steady nature.  She sadly passed away when she was 8.  The joy she brought into our family was like no other, and I want to continue to share the amazing qualities of this breed with other families. 

The goals of Ursadore are to continue to share and promote what amazing family dogs Goldens are, have amazing temperaments that a variety of people can love, minimise health issues within the breed, and produce dogs who are conformationally correct.

Our dogs are fed a raw diet, that follows National Research Council (NRC) Nutrient Requirements for Dogs and Cats guidelines.  We focus on providing a variety of locally sourced species, which gives our dogs an interesting meal, each and every time, while being nutritionally balanced.  While we hope our puppy owners will continue to feed raw, it's most important that the dog is given a diet that is complete and balanced, and which coincides with their family's goals.  If you interested in looking into raw feeding, check out the Links Page, where there are a variety of resources to browse through.
